This viewpoint was built with the firm intention of contemplating a perspective of the rest of the municipalities. The construction offers facilities that invite you to stop by, with places to sit and enjoy the view; cobblestone paths, wooden benches and railings. This place is hidden among the sierras, offering us the possibility to observe nature and to navigate in its wonderful landscapes.

Located in the place of the “Portichuelo” and after a short ascent we reach this summit, which separates the Boloyunta river from the Almanzora river. Where we find wonderful 360o views, overlooking all the villages of the Almanzora Valley and practically the entire course of the Boloyunta river as it passes through the green valley of Suflí, where we can make mention of the saying “Suflí de las calzas verdes”, because the municipality from a distance, looks like an inverted boot. From here, we can see that Suflí is located on the slope of a small hill.

From this point and by way of farewell, we invite you to enjoy our town through our festivals, customs and gastronomic traditions, which highlights our fried among the typical homemade preserves of the people of the Levante Almeriense, prepared in the most traditional way, with two ingredients of the area, such as bell pepper and tomato from Almeria, in addition to other local products such as Migas, Gachas, Olla de Trigo and Potajes.

Our handmade products, especially in our festivities, stand out for their flavor and affection during the elaboration, such is the case of Suspiros, Mazapanes, Roscos de Naranja, Roscos de Anís, Vino en la Navidad, Roscos de Pan y Palomitas de Maíz en “La Candelaria”. El Hornazo, typical sweet of the day of San Marcos, Hojuelas typical of the night of the day of the Cross… and so on.
